Indian School Rustaq (ISR) is one of the premium Indian educational institution in the Sultanate of Oman. It functions under the guidance of the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman

Indian School Rustaq was established in the year 1993, and is administrated by a sub-committee which is recommended by the Board of Directors for Indian Schools in Oman.

It is co-educational English medium educational institution that is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and is approved by the Educational ministry, sultanate of Oman.

The medium of instruction is English while Arabic is the mandatory 2nd language. As a 3rd language Arabic is taught thus satisfying the requirements by the CBSE. As an elective language Malayalam is taught. Presently classes are taught from KG, I to Class VII.

Admission process

Parents must duly fill all the details as requested in the admission application.

It is compulsory the kid must have complete 5 yr, 4 yr & 3 yr of age on the admission date to Class I, KG II & KG correspondingly.

Original TC from the previous institution is very much essential.

The child has to attend a written test and the final decision for admission will be taken by the concerned school authorities.

Without a formal admission, no child will be allowed to attend the class.
