GROUP RHYME COMPETITION LKG

Nursery rhymes have a long tradition in any kindergarten school. Adults still remember the short verses their parents and teachers have taught them when they were children. Research suggests that hearing, learning and reciting nursery rhymes can help young children take their first step towards becoming proficient readers. The LKG children of Jack and Jill Bhavans had a fantastic morning of rhymes in the Group Rhyme Competition. In their own fascinating and playful way the children experienced not only the joy of words but phonemic awareness as well. They enthralled their teachers and friends with their articulation and memory skills while reciting rhymes.
