Drivers traveling from UAE to Oman must have Orange card in their possession

The Insurance Authority of United Arab Emirates has declared that all motor vehicles travelling from UAE, and heading towards Oman, must have obtained the new insurance card. It has been clarified by the Insurance authority that the standard insurance packages will be replaced by the Orange card, and at all insurance companies, the card will be made available. It has been specified by the convention that there will be a combined bureau in every nation, which will be issuing and regulating the Orange card.

This system originates from the 1975 Arab Insurance Card Convention, in which all the member nation has signed.
