The condition of women in Bahrain.

Food

Dates, citrus fruits, bananas, mangoes, pomegranates, tomatoes and cucumbers are some of its most principal crops. Because of the restricted land space, the strength of the cattle, sheep and goats are only in thousands. However the fishing offers suficient amount of shrimp and fish.

Rice, fish, meat and dates form the main food for the people of Bahrain. A convention food for the Bahrain people is the Machboos, which comprises of fish and meat that is served along with rice. Arabian food like falafel is a much preferred food by the Bahrain peole, chickpeas’ fried balls, that is served along with the lamb, shawarma, or chicken.


Dress

The Bahrain women wear customary dress, mostly the daffah. It is an extended appropriate lack gown. Nevertheless there is no official code for dress in Bahrain.

The men in Bahrain wear the Thobe, the conventional dress, which comprises of the Ghutra, Keffiyeh, and Agal.

Sports

The people in Bahrain play different kind of sports. Some of the popular sport in Bahrain is scuba timing and horse riding. A number of people in Bahrain prefer to attend the annual horse races. A number of people prefer camel riding, as one of the traditional sports.

Some of the other traditional sports are

Al-shaqhah; it is a sport that can be played by the girls inBahrain. In this sport, the girls skip over their friend’s hands and feet.

Al-kerdiyah: It is another popular sport for the girls, they signify stories utilizing the rag dolls.
