A new malware warning to search results added by Google

Google has added a new warning malware alert system to alert the users about the possibility of their system getting infected.

An unusual activity outline of activity was detected by the internet giant. Google found these unusual activities as malware strains that makes the infest computer to send traffic to Google by means of proxy servers.

A Google security engineer said in a Google blog post that they found the unusual search activity when they were doing their maintenance work at one of their data hubs. The modified traffic was sent to Google after collaborating with security engineers belonging to different companies. Google found that computers unusually behaved and they found it was infected with a malware or some malicious software.

A Google engineer said that only computer running on windows operating system were affected with the malware. The system can be checked by doing a web search on some word.

After finding the malware discovery, now Google has arranged in such a way, that if a visitor comes to Google through these explicit intermediary server, they will now see a detailed notification on top of the Google web search results cautioning the visitor of a probable infection.

Google now hopes it can now warn the user coming through the proxies, it also hopes it can assist the users update the antivirus software and get the infections removed.

The help centre of Google assists in providing scanning tips for the systems as how to eliminate the infections. The Malware is mainly intend to interrupt the normal functioning of the computer and also to collect the user’s private information
