Kuwiat hold trial of unfurling longest flag in the world
Posted on 1/8/2011 Kuwiat Saturday held a trial of unfurling of the longest flag in the world at Abdullah Al-Mubarak. The 2000 meteres long flag was supposed to be officially unfurled on the island of Qarwa during the National Day and Liberation Day celebrations. However, Al Watan daily reported that after the trial unfurling, it was decided to hold the official ceremony during the military parade, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in Subiya area. |
