Indian President arrives in Abu Dhabi |

Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil arrived in UAE Sunday evening on an official visit which will last for several days.
Upon arrival, she was welcomed by UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, UAE ambassador to India Mohammed Sultan Abdullah Al-Owais, Indian ambassador to UAE M.K. Lokesh and a number of senior officials. She is accompanied by a delegation of 52 senior Indian businesspeople and a media contingent of 25 journalists. Abu Dhabi hopes to use the visit to enhance cooperation with India in the field of technology, especially information technology. |
