Big B was to planning to visit Nasik to inaugurate a new old age home. The actor also said in his blog he is eagerly looking for the visit. However the trip has been postponed, and the legendry actor will undertake a trip only after the naming ceremony of his newborn daughter. The actor was planning to make a visit Nasik, on an invention from his longtime friend, Harish Baijal.

Amitabh was to inaugurate the Nanasaheb Deshmukh Vridhashram, an old age home, which was administered by the Neptune foundation. The Old age home will function as a free facility for the elderly people. The main force behind the Nobel venture is a Mumbai builder, Sachin Deshmukh, by name. The builder said that he has emotional bondage with the place and in remembrance of his grandfather the place is named. He said that they don’t need any donations, but expects to visit the home and spent some considerable time with the elderly people and do some service (seva). He said Harish is a companion and the touch of Big ‘B’ will produce consciousness and motivate other people to do some service.

Amitabh has informed Baijal saying that the inauguration has to wait for some time, since his daughter Shwetha Nanda has come to his house with her children. Furthermore, the naming ceremony for Aiswarya and Abshiek’s daughter is to take place as soon as possible.

This is not the first time that Big B s joining hands with Baijal, with his charity endeavors. At Vidya Mandir, a school for the deaf and the dumb, Big B has given a several computers for the kids studying there.
