Dubai: On behalf of the Dubai Muthamizh Sangam, Pongal festival was celebrated at the Dubai Women’s College in a grand manner.The Muthamizh Sangam President Mr. Mohan presided over the function. Renowned Tamil film Director P.Vasu, well-known Tamil writer Balakumaran participated in the function. The other known personalities to grace the occasion and convey their greetings, were, noted film maker Ravi Subramanian, Doha Bank CEO Mr.Seetharaman, Ilampaari Karunakaran and Maruthumohan The function was celebrated with staging of Dance programs and a Star Musical Nite performed by ace musical director Gangai Ameren and his troupe.

Bharathi Mohan and Anu Ashok made the arrangements for the function.
